Marketing Agency Account Director – Financial Services (Banking Focus)

What You’ll Own
- Lead and grow relationships with banks and credit unions
- Translate business goals into clear, executable marketing strategy
- Drive integrated campaigns across digital, direct mail, and data-driven channels
- Ensure every initiative ties back to measurable growth (accounts, deposits, loans)
- Identify opportunities before the client does—and act on them
- Elevate creative, strategy, and analytics into one cohesive story
What You Bring
- 5-7+ years in marketing, with direct financial services experience (banking or credit union)
- Deep understanding of:
- Deposit growth strategies
- Loan acquisition
- Customer segmentation and targeting
- Ability to connect strategy → execution → results
- Confidence to lead conversations with senior client stakeholders
- A bias toward action

Requirements
- 7–10+ years of marketing experience with direct banking or credit union exposure
- Proven track record of driving deposit and/or loan growth (not just campaigns)
- Strong command of customer segmentation, targeting, and data-driven strategy
- Experience leading multi-channel campaigns (digital + direct mail required)
- Ability to connect strategy → execution → measurable results
- Comfortable owning and presenting to senior client stakeholders
- Deep understanding of performance metrics (ROI, CPL, conversion, attribution)
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify problems and solve them without direction
- Experience managing multiple accounts while maintaining strategic clarity and quality
- Clear, confident communicator who can simplify complex ideas into actionable plans
