Description
WEK Law is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its first-party property insurance litigation practice in Tennessee. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while managing a high-volume caseload and gaining hands-on litigation experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and participating in mediations. The Associate Attorney will also engage directly with clients and contribute to case strategy and resolution.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Tennessee. While this position is remote, occasional in-person appearances for hearings or depositions may be required.

Requirements
Active license to practice law in Tennessee and good standing with the state bar
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and managing discovery
Ability to take and defend depositions
Familiarity with civil litigation procedures and court rules
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software
Experience with first-party property or insurance litigation preferred
