Description
We are looking for a public health practitioner, preferably with experience in STLT surveillance, to join our dynamic, fully remote team and facilitate change across the public health ecosystem. Our work spans public health domains with specializations in data modernization, surveillance (syndromic, overdose, and chronic), informatics, and preparedness. We leverage our experiences and creativity to offer formative facilitation, strategic planning and implementation, and public health practice support.
A little bit about what you will do:
Consultants develop and deliver exceptional analyses, guidance, and technical assistance to our clients. In this role, you will primarily provide technical assistance and support to state and local health departments implementing overdose linkage to care and other surveillance systems. To do this, you will facilitate peer learning sessions, develop resources and technical guidance, and clearly communicate in writing and verbally. You will also use your practical experience and Kahuina methods to inspire and empower our clients and partners to leverage assets, overcome barriers, and improve community health and well-being. You will also contribute to developing proposals, gathering information and conducting research, drafting content, and assisting with tracking and coordination. As employees who interact with and serve clients daily, you embody Kahuina’s core values and emphasize quality, dedication, and service. Consultants report to company leadership (e.g., Managers, Directors, Principals).
