Job Title: Database Manager

Campaign: Matt Mahan for Governor of California

Overview
The Matt Mahan for Governor campaign is seeking a Database Manager to oversee and maintain the campaign’s voter, donor, and organizing databases. This role is critical to ensuring accurate data, strong targeting, and effective decision-making across the campaign.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain voter, donor, and field databases (e.g., VAN, NGP, CRM tools)
Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with campaign and state regulations
Support field, finance, and digital teams with data pulls, lists, and reports
Monitor data quality and implement best practices for data hygiene
Troubleshoot database issues and train staff as needed
Qualifications

Experience working with political or advocacy databases
Strong data management skills preferred
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Commitment to the goals and values of the Matt Mahan for Governor campaign
Compensation: $4,000 – 5,000 monthly
Location: remote
