As the area's premier provider of psychiatric services, Hackensack Meridian Behavioral Health Services has provided comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services to the residents of Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex, and Bergen Counties for over forty years.
We are currently seeking a General Psychiatrist to join our inpatient team in Perth Amboy, NJ. The psychiatrist will oversee an 81-bed unit at Raritan Bay Medical Center - Perth Amboy. This state-of-the-art unit was completed in 2023. Services include specialized programs and units for adults, older adults, neuromodulation (ECT) services, and care for individuals with both mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses.

OPPORTUNITY REQUIREMENTS:
- M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- BC/BE in General Psychiatry
- New Jersey Medical License, CDS, DEA

Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
