Job Description
We are seeking several highly motivated and experienced literacy specialists with 3-5 years of teaching experience and a master's degree in a literacy-related topic to join our Literacy Team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about the Science of Reading, skilled in data analysis, able to help educators understand reading assessment data, and be ready to take on some or all of the below responsibilities, based on the candidates’ interest and level of expertise.
Responsibilities
-Help clients understand reading assessment data, including but not limited to:
-Communicating assessment results and implications to a variety of appropriate audiences (i.e., educators, school leaders, or district administrators) for relevant implications, instructional purposes, and accountability
-Analyzing assessment data to examine individual student’s and groups of students’ needs, interpreting and communicating the results to various audiences, and crafting instructional or intervention plans through a backward-design method that meets students’ needs
-Provide product or technical training sessions for clients during the implementation phase
-Manage customer success, assist in maintaining strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, providing exceptional service, etc.
-Create and deliver literacy-related professional development courses and materials
-Create implementation guides and teacher materials to help schools use Capti products
-Contribute to marketing initiatives and help create marketing collateral
-Lead product demos and participate in sales meetings requiring literacy expertise
-Assist with writing state and district requests for proposals (RFPs)
Requirements
-3-5 years of literacy education and classroom experience
-Master's degree in a literacy or a closely-related field
-Knowledge of and passion for the Science of Reading and evidence-based literacy practices
-Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Self-motivated and curious to learn
-Reading Endorsement (or closely-related endorsement) certification is a plus
