Description
Fractional Law Firm CMO is seeking a fully remote, full-time marketing associate to support our law firm clients as well as the company’s marketing and business development efforts. In this role, you will contribute to a wide variety of client marketing initiatives across all areas of marketing and business development, including research, content creation, and digital marketing. We are looking for a self-starter with good judgment, professional demeanor, and an eye for detail with a strong client service mentality. A minimum of three years of experience working in law firm or professional services marketing is required.
You will report to the Creative Director and Director of Communications. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with our talented team. We provide seamless service to our clients with a focus on quality, innovation, and responsiveness.

Requirements
Essential Functions
- Support marketing collateral development and coordination for clients
- Assist with general research and competitive analysis
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning for clients, including sponsorship opportunities
- Support social media content creation, caption writing, scheduling, and maintenance for our clients, including account creation (LinkedIn, Meta, other platforms as needed)
- Assist with basic graphic design tasks primarily for social media/digital design
- Create email marketing campaigns for clients, including alerts and newsletters, and maintain client contact lists and audiences
- Execute basic website updates and maintain client CMS platforms
- Assist with data analytics reports (website, social, etc.)
- Assist with day-to-day management of law firm client accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and on strategy
- Anticipate client needs, uncover new opportunities and contribute to organic growth
- Provide administrative assistance
- Any other functions/duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience
- A strong client service mindset, with an emphasis on quality, responsiveness, and problem-solving
- The ability to balance multiple clients at once, shifting from project to project as needed
- A technology-forward mentality with the ability to adapt and implement new tools (e.g., AI) with an aptitude for learning new software
- Strong organization and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact professionally
- Meticulous proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently to make intelligent, informed decisions and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively; a history of taking initiative is essential to success in this position
- Solid project management skills, business acumen, and an ability to understand marketplace trends
- Team-centric attitude and ability to plug in where needed most
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three years’ experience in a law firm (preferred) or professional services environment
Tech/Software Skills
- Microsoft Office suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- Basic Canva skills or other design software
- E-mail marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Vuture, etc.)
- Social media (LinkedIn, Meta, and others)
- CMS preferred (WordPress, Wix, and the ability to adapt to other CMS systems as needed)
- Social media scheduling platforms preferred (e.g., Sprout Social, Zoho, CloudCampaign, SocialShare, HootSuite, etc.)
- Video editing a plus
