- Research Analyst
Description
The Research Analyst will work with firm principals and senior staff, clients, and vendors to execute qualitative and quantitative political public opinion research projects. Common tasks will include drafting proposals, coordinating data collection and data processing staff and vendors, conducting rigorous quality control, drafting and editing survey questionnaires and focus group moderator guidelines, preparing polling reports for clients, drafting analysis memos and presentations, and attending client meetings. This is an interdisciplinary role that blends best practices in political communication, data analysis, survey science, and modern political strategy. It requires developed written and verbal communication skills, an inquisitive and curious personality, a strong work ethic and obsessive attention to detail, and dedication to Democratic and progressive missions and causes.
We are a very small and very collaborative team; everyone works on everything and no task is beneath anyone. The Research Analyst will be incredibly close to client work and have myriad opportunities to participate in engaging and high-stakes political consulting. They will also be expected to take on some rote and mundane tasks that are critical to our business operations and the success of our clients. We are eager to mentor and help the Research Analyst grow their skillset but expect them to contribute in a meaningful way as soon as they join the firm.
