Bilingual Immigration Associate
Position Overview

We’re a growing Immigration Practice Group looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Bilingual First-Year Associate to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you’ll work directly with clients and our Immigration Partner on a wide range of cases, including family-based petitions, removal defense, asylum, and humanitarian relief. You’ll gain meaningful, hands-on experience from day one and take an active role in guiding clients through some of life’s most critical moments.
As part of a close-knit and collaborative team, you’ll receive mentorship, professional growth opportunities, and exposure to every stage of the immigration process. This role is remote and open to Florida residents with the option to work out of any of our 16 statewide offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to gather facts, documents, and supporting evidence for cases.
- Draft motions, briefs, legal correspondence, and applications for submission to USCIS, EOIR, and other government agencies.
- Attend USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings under attorney supervision (when permitted).
- Meet with DHS (Department of Homeland Security) Officers and DHS Attorneys to discuss client matters (training will be provided).
- Communicate with clients regularly regarding case strategy, updates, and deadlines.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on changes in immigration law, policy, and procedure.
- Collaborate with paralegals and staff to ensure accuracy and timely case filings.
- Assist in community outreach, client workshops, or pro bono projects as needed.
- Some travel is required (ICE detention facilities in Baker County, Miami and other counties in FL)

Requirements
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to at least one state bar or awaiting results from bar admission.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Prior experience in immigration law (internship, clinic, or clerkship) strongly preferred.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
