Shuffield, Lowman & Wilson, a full-service AV-Rated law firm, has an immediate need in our Orlando office to join our Intellectual Property law team as an associate, of counsel, or partner. A book of business is preferred but not required. Patent bar admission preferred. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of strong experience in domestic (federal and state) trademark filings and prosecution, patent filings and prosecution, and other intellectual property matters, comfortable leading projects and transactions, and managing an established intellectual property caseload. The firm prefers, but does not require, the candidate to have experience with international trademark and patent filings, and experience conducting diligence on intellectual property matters in the context of mergers and acquisition transactions. Must have excellent attention to detail and drafting skills, be comfortable interacting with clients, be a team player and have ability to multi-task.
