HRCI is the premier credentialing organization for the human resource profession, setting the standard for HR rigor, excellence and expertise for 50 years.
HRCI is seeking a volunteer Public Member to serve on its Certification Council. The Council supports the mission of HRCI by overseeing the development, maintenance, and administration of certification programs for the human resources profession, both in the U.S. and globally.
Requirements
The Council is responsible for essential certification program policies and activities, including certification eligibility requirements, recertification requirements, examination development and administration, grievance and disciplinary policies, and oversight of subject matter expert committees.
Public Members play a critical role on the HRCI Certification Council by providing the perspective of a consumer of human resources. Their perspective helps balance HRCI’s responsibility to protect the public while supporting and advancing the profession.
Certification Council terms are 3 years with the potential to renew once. The Council conducts three to four virtual meetings each year.
