We have an immediate opening in our virtual office, The Link, for a No-Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Attorney with a minimum of two years of experience with New York No-Fault PIP law preferred. This role primarily involves analyzing medical records, bills, fee disputes, priority of payment, coverage exhaustion, and other legal issues related to PIP claims. This attorney will draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions for summary judgment and other dispositive motions.
Candidates should have an active New York bar license and reside in or around New York City, as they will be required to appear at arbitrations, court conferences, and hearings, as necessary. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit. This position will have the possibility of a flexible billable-hour requirement.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and much more. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the salary range for this position is $145,000 - $155,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
