Clinical Psychologist (PSYPACT, Remote)

NeuroClarity is a clinical diagnostic practice focused on delivering rigorous, high-quality psychological evaluations. We leverage technology to expand access to comprehensive assessments for individuals across the lifespan who suspect neurodivergence or are seeking clarity regarding a possible diagnosis of autism, ADHD, or Generalized Anxiety Disorder. 

We intentionally use technology to reduce systemic friction and administrative burden while preserving clinical depth. This allows our licensed clinical psychologists to focus on what matters most — delivering thoughtful, thorough care rather than managing paperwork.

Due to increasing demand, we are expanding our group of contracted clinical psychologists to support diagnostic evaluations across the lifespan.

Engagement Overview
This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor relationship with NeuroClarity.

Clinicians partnering with NeuroClarity maintain professional independence while contributing diagnostic expertise within a thoughtfully designed clinical practice. This engagement is ideal for psychologists who value autonomy, flexibility, and focused evaluation work without the need to manage patient sourcing, intake and scheduling logistics, or administrative workflows.

Scope of Work
As a contracted Clinical Psychologist with NeuroClarity, you will engage in the following key activities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and intellectual disabilities.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized instruments (e.g., ADOS-2, cognitive and adaptive measures, behavioral rating scales).
• Integrate information from clinical interviews, direct observation, patient-provided records, and collateral sources.
• Prepare clear, clinically sound reports that reflect accurate diagnostic impressions, communicate findings in an accessible way, and provide actionable recommendations with compassion and care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) with psychologist licensure.
• Active clinical licensure with authorization to practice in PSYPACT states, or eligibility to obtain PSYPACT authorization.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for neurodevelopmental conditions, with emphasis on diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or ADHD.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting diagnostic instruments for ASD (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R) and ADHD (Conners-4, CAARS-2).
• Strong understanding of development and psychopathology, including nuanced presentations of neurodivergence across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically to diverse audiences
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with clinical and administrative support teams.

Independent Contractor Considerations

This role is structured as a 1099 engagement

Contractors retain control over:

• Scheduling flexibility, subject to a minimum availability commitment of 12 hours per week and alignment with clinical demand.
• Professional judgment and diagnostic decision-making

Contractors are responsible for:

• Maintaining required licensure and PSYPACT authorization
• Carrying their own professional liability (malpractice) insurance
• Managing personal tax obligations consistent with independent contractor status
