- Mobile Veterinarian In-Home Euthanasia Services
Description
EverPaw is a compassionate, mobile end-of-life veterinary practice serving the greater Chicago area. We offer gentle, in-home euthanasia services that give beloved pets the chance to pass peacefully in the comfort of their own homes — surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and the people who love them most.
We're building a team of empathetic, skilled veterinarians who share our mission, on a full-time or part-time basis. At EverPaw, we're guided by two core beliefs: that pets deserve a gentle, dignified goodbye, and that the veterinarians who provide that care deserve real support and sustainability. We know this work is deeply rewarding, but it can also be heavy — so our mission extends to caring for the wellness of our veterinary team, too.
What you'll do:
- Guide families through quality-of-life and end-of-life decisions with warmth and clarity, honoring the human-animal bond
- Provide gentle, in-home euthanasia using your preferred drug protocols
- Complete medical records promptly and maintain meticulous drug logs in accordance with all state and federal laws
- Help build referral relationships and represent EverPaw in the community
- Work directly with our founders and veterinarians to shape our approach to care, operations, and culture
What awaits you at EverPaw:
We've got your back: Our responsive, proactive team handles scheduling, phone triage, financial discussions, appointment prep, and cremation coordination — so you can focus on your patients.
Enjoy the open road: Practice autonomously in a mobile setting. Choose your own drug protocols, work days, and driving zones.
Work to live: Benefit from a flexible schedule with no after-hour requirements. We're open 7 days/week, with a 20–40 hour commitment expected.
Grow with us: Ongoing training in at-home euthanasia best practices, plus leadership and career advancement opportunities. Your input shapes how we care, operate, and grow.
Earn what you deserve: Competitive pay and bonus opportunities, plus Health Insurance; PTO; CE allowance; mileage reimbursement; cell phone stipend; licensing fees; professional liability insurance; and local VMA membership.
