We provide a drop-in solution of modular VR theaters to high-traffic public attractions such as zoos, aquariums, museums, science centers, and other entertainment venues. We provide the content, the technology, the design for the installation and the guidance on operations, and the partners manage the day-to-day operations. Our VR experiences are in over 150 sites around the world and increasing rapidly.
About the Team:
The Performance Team is mission-critical to Immotion’s business. The partners are the lifeblood of the business and need to be nurtured, guided, and encouraged to use all the tools at their disposal to maximize throughput and revenue.
The Position:
The Performance Director - APAC is responsible for managing partnerships located in Asia Pacific. All interactions are primarily in English, so native or near-native proficiency is required; proficiency in other languages is helpful but not required.
This individual will work closely with each partner in Asia Pacific (North East & South East Asia, Australia/New Zealand) to maximize the performance of each site by building strong rapport and relationships with partner stakeholders. The successful candidate will utilize the resources provided by the company, but also pull from their work experience to create and implement a plan that will increase company revenue across sites.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the general managers and operational teams of our partners to:
- Fine tune the guest conversion strategy
- Hone the marketing materials to meet the exact needs of the specific site
- Support the partners in developing and delivering a marketing plan using a range of media to grow awareness, drive footfall and commercial revenue streams
- Optimize their online sales strategy
- Constant attention to each site will be necessary to keep increasing the guest conversion rates and revenue from month to month.
- Working with our internal content team to create and fine-tune marketing materials to be used across the company.
- Producing and interpreting weekly, monthly and annual customer, conversion and sales information for organizational reporting and strategy development purposes.
- Frequent travel across the region will be required
Requirements
Experience/Skills:
- Must be a self-starter with a proven track record of account management and increasing performance/revenue
- Experience in the visitor attraction industry with strong focus on customer conversion strongly preferred
- Business planning, with commercial accountability for the portfolio, ensuring the achievement of conversion and financial targets
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to forge strong relationships and negotiate with potential partners.
- Must be able to work under multiple deadlines and with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to handle potential issues as they arise with a sense of urgency
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience working in highly-analytical marketing & account management roles
- Strong proficiency with MS Office and the Google Suite tools
- Proficiency using virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
