Job Summary
The Technical Solution Specialist is responsible for delivering tailored technical solutions that meet client needs and support the successful deployment and integration of InnovMarine’s products and services. This role involves working closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to ensure the effective implementation, configuration, and optimization of software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation (40%)
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement technical solutions and process improvements
Configure and deploy software products based on client requirements
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices
Document solution architecture, configurations, and implementation processes
Technical Support & Troubleshooting (30%)
Provide technical support during and after implementation
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, integration, and performance
Maintain detailed records of support activities and resolutions
Client Engagement & Collaboration (20%)
Act as a technical advisor to clients, helping them understand and maximize solution value
Work closely with sales, product, and consulting teams to align solutions with client goals
Gather client feedback and contribute to product improvement initiatives
Other Duties (10%)
Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational goals
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marine Engineering, or a related field; other relevant education will be considered
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical solution delivery or support roles
Strong understanding of software deployment, configuration, and integration
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation tools
Experience working within matrix organization structures is an asset
Maximo, Shipconstructor, PLM software experience (asset)
Marine industry experience (asset)
Bilingual (asset)
