Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Tournament Administration Coordinator supports the execution of Epson Tour events by providing administrative, operational, and technical support to ensure seamless tournament delivery. This includes assisting with tournament logistics, volunteer coordination, scoring operations, technology setup, and maintaining Epson Tour equipment and assets.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Tournament Administration & Coordination
- Manage communication to all players, caddies and tournament staff during tournament weeks through the use of Epson Tour communication platforms and systems, working closely with the Epson Tour Rules, Tour Operations and Player Services teams to coordinate and communicate all activities associated with Epson Tour areas of business during tournament week.
- Maintain and manage scoring network and equipment inventory at tournament sites; determine location for, complete set up of, and test repeaters.
- Oversee the full Epson Tour Caddie Registration processes, including credentialing of Tour caddies, oversight of caddie database, and working directly with the tournament volunteers to ensure required registration forms are on file for local caddies.
- Assist with operational documents including player and caddie memos, fact sheets and Pro-Am assignments as part of the competitions team.
On-Site Tournament Operations
- Lead scoring operations, including scorecard processing and use of scoring software.
- Oversee scorecard verification, process tournament withdrawals, and assist with Local Qualifying Rounds.
- Assist with setup, breakdown, loading, unloading, and daily operations of Epson Tour signage, equipment, and supplies.
- Support layout planning for tournament operational areas.
- Assist with tear-down processes and ensure equipment is packed and secured properly.
Technology & Scoring Support
- Assist with Internet and Wi-Fi setup for Tournament Office, Media Center, and scoring locations.
- Support installation, testing, and basic troubleshooting of scoring networks and repeaters.
- Lead Volunteer training on live scoring tools.
- Maintain inventory of scoring devices, tablets, repeaters, and related technology assets.
- Provide basic on-site technical support to staff and volunteers.
- Assist with offseason equipment audits and technology documentation.
Stakeholder Service & Communication
- Communicate professionally with players, organizers, sponsors, coaches, and VIP guests.
- Deliver schedules, updates, and operational information clearly to staff, volunteers, and partners.
Equipment, Branding & Logistics
- Maintain Epson Tour inventory including technology and scoring equipment.
- Support pre- and post-event shipping, equipment tracking, and asset organization.
- Assist in organizing on-site tournament offices and workspaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in tournament operations, sports administration, golf event management, or related fields.
- Superior attention to detail, organizational and customer service skills, and able to deliver accurate work within established deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills.
- Basic Wi-Fi and troubleshooting skills or strong aptitude for technology.
- Resourceful, independent thinker with strong organizational skills.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Golf knowledge preferred.
- Collaborative team player who values diversity.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., walk/stand for long periods.
- Ability to work long hours including weekends/holidays.
- Travel required approximately 22–25 weeks per year.
- Able to work a flexible schedule and travel for a minimum of seven or more consecutive days.
